About foundation

The charity and support foundation “Vilties Sala” (Hope Island) has been working in Lithuania since 1999. The foundation cooperates with charitable organizations in Danish,Swedish, Finland, Germany, Norway, USA and Lithuania, with Lithuanian and foreign companies, public organizations, schools, preschools, special educational institutions, religious communities, and sport clubs.

In the charity and support foundation “Vilties Sala” work people among which there are pedagogues, doctors, officers, other experienced specialists and senior pupils from Kaunas secondary schools.

THE MAIN ATTITUDES OF THE CHARITY AND SUPPORT FOUNDATION:

The foundation aims at supporting destitute families, homeless children, boarding-schools and nursing homes, preschools, medical and other institutions of satisfactory condition.

The foundation supports institutions of disabled children. It aims at changing the institutional environment in order to help the disabled children to form their inner features and to assure their integration into society.

The charity and support foundation organizes various charitable feasts, sponsors excursions and children’s recreation camps.

The foundation aims at creating new relations with foreign countries that can provide charity, it cooperates with Lithuanian institutions.

he charity and support foundation seeks to create and improve cooperation with non-governmental organizations from Commonwealth of Independent States in order to promote image building of Lithuania, the country that provides support.
